day 9 :: signs

Signs can warn us, lead us, remind us or even state the obvious. Whatever the case, it's our job to interpret the signs as they pertain to our own lives. What the signs really say is up to us.

At first I bypassed this obvious sign as being my ‘sign’ for the day. But after blowing up at my kids, realizing I was irritated by the very presence of any breathing thing within 10 ft, and remembering that I didn’t go to sleep until almost 1 am I thought, ‘Nope, that is most definitely my ‘sign’ for today. I think I’ll go enjoy a cup right now actually, after all, in a couple of hours i’m hosting two of the most dreaded words in an introvert’s vocabulary…PLAY DATE.
